Sim Infosystems engineers have extensive experience in developing custom simulation models for the most complex technology and processing units. These custom models include the following:
- Failure of all rotating equipments (pumps, fans, blowers, compressors) and utilities (power, cooling water, steam, instrument air) are incorporated as Malfunction.
- Fouling of all heat exchangers will be provided as process disturbance.
- Failure of all instruments (control valves & transmitters) is provided as part of the Instrument malfunction.
- The custom models will have two initial conditions:
- Any field operated or non-DCS operated devices such as pump start / stop switches, block valves, by-pass valves, local valves, and pilot burners which are essential to perform the simulated operations during start-up, shutdown, malfunctions or normal operations, will be provided as remote functions operable at a field operator station screen.
